Hello and welcome to Hub World. Hopefully you’re not as scared reading this as I am writing it. But that’s what makes it kind of fun.
So what is this place? Basically, this is a way for me to accomplish a goal I set for myself some time ago: talk about shit I like online.
I like a wide variety of things. To be as general as possible, I like Sports, Entertainment, and Video Games. Now you may be thinking, “well shoot Pete I like those things too!” And to that I would say, “exactly my point.” There’s all kinds of cool shit out there, and plenty of people to talk about it with – and if you’ve met me in person even one time, you would know that more than any of the above, I LOVE to talk.
Knowing that there’s a whole world out there of people who like the same shit as me gets me pretty excited. And now that we’ve established we all like the same shit around here, we can get into the fun stuff. What exactly is the “fun stuff” you ask? Well…
…I don’t know yet, actually. For now, blog posts, just like this one, about whatever I feel like, sorted into three (for now) main categories. Maybe some more “regularly scheduled” posts if it comes to it, maybe some more sporadic. Truthfully, whatever the hell I feel like.
And maybe not just me. I have some awesome friends and have met some really cool people. Maybe you’re one of them reading this, thinking that you also like to talk about shit you like. Eventually, I’d love to get some people involved with posting stuff on here. Maybe host some podcasts, get into the YouTube game, or blog the shit out of this thing.
In conclusion, I bought and designed a whole ass website just to post shit online because I’m a nerd who likes to write. Whether not one single person on the planet reads this, or this grows so big I can quit my job and buy an island to blog from, I don’t care.
